Ron Starns on Salvation Army
Thank you Ron Starnes for talking to us about the Salvation Army in Warren.
Locally they have three food programs, a federal program which provides surplus non-perishable foods for distribution, a state program which provides for non-perishable foods for distribution, and the local soup kitchen that provides 4 lunches per week and one dinner on Wednesdays. On January 17th, 2014 at Rotary International Assembly in San Diego, CA RI President Elect Gary C. K. Huang was inducted as Honorary Member for Life of RC Gjakova from Kosova and RC Warren from Pennsylvania. It is a great honor for both clubs to have President Gary Huang as Honorary Member for Life.
